Your Time- The Most Valuable Gift That You Can Give

The gift of your time is the most wonderful and most important gift that you can give to another person.

When you want to show your love and how much that you care for someone, giving your time is the most valuable thing that you can give them.

Also, when you give your time to someone that you care about, make sure that you are also giving them your attention.

You can spend time with someone but not be giving them your attention. An example is being in the same room with someone to try and give them your time, however; you are on your phone, computer, or watching television.

So, when you are giving the gift of your time to show someone that you care, make sure that you are also giving them your attention.

Some ways that you can show others that you care with your time and attention are:

Engage in conversation by - asking others how they are and then ask specific questions about their interests. You can also ask others how they feel about things that are going on in their life. Then, reflect back to them that you heard what they said to you. Make eye contact and listen to the other person by looking as if you are really interested in what they are saying.

Engage yourself in an activity with the person that you want to give your time and attention to by doing something that you know that they enjoy doing.

Show others that you care with your time and attention and leave your computers and phones in another room while you show this special person in your life how valuable they are to you!

Here is an a amazing quote by Pastor Rick Warren about giving of your time:

Time is your most precious gift because you only have a set amount of it.

You can make more money, but you can't make more time. When you give someone your time, you are giving them a portion of your life that you'll never get back. Your time is your life. That is why the greatest gift you can give someone is your time.

It is not enough to just say relationships are important; we must prove it by investing time in them. Words alone are worthless. "My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action."

Relationships take time and effort, and the best way to spell love is-
"T-I-M-E.”
