Having Hope Always Starts With You!

We all would like to have hope. We would like to have hope ALL of the time in our lives. But let’s face it. It is not an easy thing to do when you we are feeling discouraged. One definition of hope is "to have a desired outcome in anticipation." So how do we live with hope you ask? There are a few ways in which can help us to do that.

First of all, just by sharing with someone else that you are having a difficult time can help you to attain some hope! It helps us to feel better emotionally when we open up and share our hurt feelings with someone else. So ... talk and share with someone that you trust. It can also be helpful if you write down and journal about the things that are bothering you.

You can also CHOOSE to live in hope. Hope is an optimistic attitude in our thinking. This is centered on an expectation of positive outcomes that is correlated with circumstances of our lives. You can choose to live with hope by implementing a positive attitude with positive self-talk.

Every morning when you wake up, choose to be optimistic and hopeful that you are going to have a great day. Tell yourself that you are going to have a great day! Take deep breathes, stretch, and get some sunshine and fresh air!

GET UP, DRESS UP, SHOW UP and TRY YOUR VERY BEST!
