The Three Types Of Stress, Their Consequences And Treatment

There are three types of stress.

1. Stimulus-based......The first type of stress is when a person is under a lot of pressure with life events. This type of stress can lead to physical illness.

The best treatment for this type of stress is to learn how to take things out of your life that is too much and to find a healthy balance.

2. Response -based......The second type of stress is physical and psychological in which a person feels completely stressed out. This type of stress can lead to anxiety, poor concentration, fatigue, and bodily tension.
This type of stress is also referred to as general adaptation syndrome.

The best treatment for this type of stress is relaxation exercises, biofeedback, yoga and meditation/ mindfulness.

3. Interactional.....The third type of stress is when you believe that you just can no longer cope and you think that you do not have the ability to deal with things. This type of stress can lead to a multitude of symptoms that are physical and emotional.

The best treatment for this type of stress is Cognitive Behavioral Modification and Stress Inoculation Training.

Of course counseling can help you manage any type of stress!

Learn how to effectively deal with stress before it overtakes your life with anxiety and / or illness.
