Anger- Control It Before it Controls You - With These Tips & Free Support Groups

Anger is not actually a bad thing.







Anger is a completely normal, usually healthy, human emotion.

It is a needed emotion that can helpful in our lives at times. 

It is when we demonstrate inappropriate behaviors when we are angry that causes problems. 

Tips To Help Implement Anger Management:
 
Have a cool down period/ Time Out

Think before you speak

Get some fresh air and sunshine

Exercise

Take deep breaths 

Talk to yourself in a positive manner

Talk to a trusted friend or counselor 

Journal your feelings  

Have a sense of humor

Use imagery by visualizing a relaxing experience either from memory or use your imagination 

Ask yourself what the worse thing is that could happen that you are angry about- and realize that you can handle it

Anger can often turn into depression, anxiety, and feelings of hopelessness

Free Depression/ Anxiety/ Panic/ Hopelessness Support Groups

Groups are on-going monthly and open-group
