Beating The January Blues

The first couple weeks of January are when people feel the most depressed all year.  It is referred to as the January Blues. It is considered to be the gloomiest month of the year as we try to make new goals for our lives.

The best way to help you feel better is to walk outside. Even if it is cold where you live, bundle up and go for a walk!!!! It is the best thing that you can do for your mood!

Only set small and attainable goals for yourself right now. This way, you won’t feel overwhelmed with your goals. Set small and specific goals for yourself. You can always add more goals later.

Plan something that you can look forward to! Maybe try a new class or learn a new hobby for example.

Plan to exercise more than you have in the past. Again, set small goals. However, set some kind of exercise and fitness goals. It will make you feel better!

Join a support group and/ or a Bible study.

Pray! pray! pray!

Seek support and help and never give up!

You are Worthy!

A safe place to heal.
