Visualizations and Affirmations- How They Can Help You!

Visualizations & Affirmations can be very helpful in our lives!

These practices are like positive thinking and meditation and they offer similar benefits.

Positive thinking is best practiced in daily life, visualization requires us to pause and dedicate specific time toward imagining a positive outcome.

Affirmations usually take some directed energy as well. It is helpful to write positive statements or to say them out loud.

Both techniques work to improve our outlooks in life and to rewire our brains into "solutions mode".

Drink Up! The Benefits of Drinking Water & Tips To Help You Drink More

Do you often feel chronically tired and sluggish?

It could be from a lack of proper nutrition or not drinking enough water.

Basically, water is used in one of our body’s main biochemical processes to produce energy.

Water is literally required in order for the release of energy from our cells which aids in many bodily functions.

Water is our lifeblood. Water forms at least 60% of our bodies and our kidneys will start to shut down after 24 hours without it.

Although there are some recorded cases of some people surviving without water for a week, most people will die after 3 days of not drinking water.

At low levels of dehydration, our body cannot produce optimal energy, flush toxins from our kidneys, or function at our highest mental capacity.

Tips to help you drink more water:

Drink water right when you wake up.

Keep a bottle or glass within easy sight to remind you to drink.

Take some type of water bottle with you at all times when you leave the house.

Drink water before you go to bed.

Always have a glass of water by your bed side.

Set a timer or reminders on your phone.

Flavor your water naturally with squeezing lemon or other fruit in it.

Happy Easter!

The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ's victory over death.

His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him.

Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead.

Jesus is the Son of God and who heroically gave His life to die for our sins. On the third day after He died, the day we now celebrate as Easter Sunday, His friends went to His grave, and found that He had risen from the dead.

They saw an angel who said to them, "Don't be afraid! I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He isn't here! He has been raised from the dead, just as He said it would happen."

Jesus rose from the dead on Easter Sunday; now He offers to you the gift of eternal life and forgiveness of sins.

Here are 4 principles that tell how you can receive the gift of God for your life.

God Loves You!
The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life"

All of us have done, said, or thought things that are wrong. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God forever. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.”

The good news is that, about 2,000 years ago,
God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Jesus rose from the dead and now He lives in heaven with God His Father.

He offers us the gift of eternal life -- of living forever with Him in heaven if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me."

God loves you and reaches out in love to you. He wants you to be His child. "As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe on His name."

You can choose to ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and come in to your life as your Lord and Savior.

If you want to accept Christ as Savior and turn from your sins, you can ask Him to be your Savior and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins.  Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I ask you in to my life and heart to be my Lord and Savior. I want to serve you always."

Get Rid of- I Can't!

But I can't do that! I can't! I couldn't! I am not capable. I am not smart enough. I am not educated enough. I do not have the self confidence for that. I am not assertive enough........ and so on and so on and so on.

Have you ever felt this way or said these things?

Who says that you can't?

We are only limited by the confinement that we create in our own minds!

So- you lack self confidence? Work on building your self- confidence!

If you think that you are not capable of something that you want to do- ask yourself what it would take to make yourself capable!

If your ship does not come in....... swim out to it!

STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND START MAKING PLANS TO TAKE SOME ACTION!
