My Hope Remains- Even in the Storm

Hope is.............

that feeling that what is wanted can happen and/ or that events will turn out for the best,

a person or thing in which expectations are centered on,

to look forward to something with desire and with reasonable confidence,

an optimistic attitude of the mind based on an expectation of positive outcomes for one's life.

It can be difficult to have hope in our lives when we have been dealt a bad hand of cards.

Some of us have experienced abuse of every form, pain and suffering both mentally and physically, extreme financial hardship, traumas, illnesses, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, grief and loss, and more.

I have personally experienced all of these listed and I know that many of you have as well.

I know that it is difficult to have hope that things will get better when your life has been one hardship after another.

I know that it is especially hard to lose loved ones. You need to allow yourself to grieve.

I know that it seems like other people do not have it so bad. I know that this can make you feel bitter and confused as to why your life has to be so hard.

Everyone has hard times. Some people's struggles just are not as easy to see as others. Try not to compare yourself to others.

If you choose to give up on hope.... you are giving into the abuse, the trauma, the pain and suffering, etc. and you are choosing to give all of these things or people power over your life.

Choose instead to have hope for a better tomorrow. Choose to use what you have been through to make you a stronger person and to help others.

Choose to use your pain to motivate you to continue on and to always HAVE HOPE.

Maybe your life is not turning out as you had hoped or planned. If so, make a NEW dream. Make a new vision for your life and start pursuing it.

Grieve, allow yourself to feel anger, pain, etc. then learn how to let go of any negativity associated with these feelings.

Choose to refuse to live as a victim anymore.

Choose to forgive.

Choose to accept what is and to let go of what you do not have control over.

Choose to seek help and support in learning how to let go of strongholds that are holding you back from living an abundant life!
